VrOne®

Mapping vector collection and editing package

A powerful mapping vector collection and editing package with Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM), image display, translation and batch processing capability.  VrOne® has the ability to run stand-alone as a 2D system or may the base package for the VrTwo softcopy system or the VrLiDAR point cloud package.

The program design and implementation is the result of over twenty years of software development experience in the mapping industry.  Mapping today requires the mapping professional to deliver vector, image and DTM data from imagery and LiDAR point cloud sources.  VrOne® addresses many of the problems encountered in handling the collection, editing and translating of vector, image and DTM data.

A highly efficient, stand-alone, 3D graphic system designed for photogrammetry. Years of software development and support in the mapping production environment have generated the most practical mapping tool available today.   VrOne® is an easy-to-learn system that offers fast data acquisition, easy editing, powerful data storage and specialized mapping applications.

Versatile - VrOne® excels as a 3D data collection system using imagery and (or) LiDAR point cloud data. Its versatility makes it equally as powerful as a stand-alone edit station.

Vector Collection - Interactive, easy to use mapping applications with Function Keys and Macros improve data collection speed. Innovative features such as Application Overlaying allow data to be collected in regions instead of by feature type.

Stereo Softcopy Support - When running the optional add-on softcopy VrTwo, all the power and flexibility of VrOne® is available as a single, tightly integrated package.

Real-time Point Cloud Cursor Draping - The elevation of the current cursor position may be computed and driven to based on a High/Low Point Search or from real-time point triangulation around the cursor location. These computations occur, real-time, as the cursor is moved.. (VrOne/VrTwo)

Vector Editing - Interactive, intuitive editing functions for many editing situations are available. Unattended batch applications make the global changing and editing of map data easy. Vector collection and editing may be performed over images using them as backdrop and for reference.

DTM - The DTM engine is on-line and may be run at any time. Application Overlaying allows the engine to be run while a data collection application is running. Draping against the DTM surface may be used for quality control, DEM generation, feature extrusion and ground tracking.

Data Storage - Up to 5000 vector and image files may be opened at one time. The VrOne® data base is a true 3 dimensional, real world coordinate system. Non-graphic data types such as Feature Code extend data classification. 32,001 data layers and an unlimited file size allow collection and editing of massive amounts of map data.

Application Overlaying - Multiple applications may be overlaid allowing the operator to collect data in the order it presents itself instead of feature type by feature type. This allows operators to collect data the way they think instead of the way most computer software wants them to think.  Application Overlaying is one of the new, innovative features of the Vr Mapping Software.

Powerful, Flexible with Many Extras - VrOne® includes many mapping objects that are considered extras.  The standard version of VrOne® comes with Interactive collection and editing, batch processing, DTM support and 3D draping, plotting and many translators.  One of the best features of VrOne® is it's value.
